Campus Rec wants to offer you an inclusive, open, and positive environment to allow you to shine like the star you are. If you want to come back to health and fitness, are looking to check it out, or are simply open to the idea, we have services to make it easier for you.

Women’s weight training classes: A personal trainer-led small group workout that takes place twice a week. Personal trainers will provide you with a program to follow, introduce you to a variety of ways to workout and provide support and cueing during your sessions.

Women only gym hours: Enjoy a women’s only workout environment in the Montpetit Fitness Centre from 7:30-8:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Women only pool hours: Swim during the women’s only pool time on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Female personal trainers: Give personal training a try with the help of one of our female personal trainers. One of our experienced team members will help you feel strong and confident in the gym.

Here are just a few facts about female fitness:

  • Better sleep! - Working out, especially in the early afternoon, can help you avoid the endless tossing and turning, and can give you a more relaxed sleep;
  • Improves mental health! - Neurotransmitters and endorphins are released when you’re working out. Hormones like serotonin and dopamine enter your system, which can help reduce anxiety, stress and depression.
  • Glowing complexion! Better skin! - Exercise increases circulation, which gives your skin a dose of oxygenated blood;
  • Boosts immunity! - While working out, the body releases anti-oxidants. This helps get rid of unwanted toxins and therefore boosts your immunity.

Let’s work together. We look forward to seeing you!
