One of the great benefits of being an employee at the University of Ottawa is being able to use the sports facilities right near your office!
All full-time University of Ottawa employees contributing to social benefits have access to a basic membership. This membership gives access to the pool as well as the lockers, sauna and showers located in Montpetit.
Upgrade to the Montpetit fitness membership for full access to the Montpetit fitness centre. Take advantage of exclusive employee only workout times from 12:00 p.m. – 1 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Another membership option available to you, is the all-inclusive membership. On top of everything included in the basic and Montpetit membership, this choice gives you full access to the health and lifestyle centre located in the MINTO sports complex. This facility has a fintess centre, two squash courts, showers and lockers. With this membership also comes complete access to all drop-in group fitness classes. Check out the group fitness calendar for a full schedule of group fitness classes including employee only classes. These classes include bootcamps, yoga, HIIT and much more.

Take advantage of what’s on campus; as little as 10 minutes of vigorous exercise can help improve your focus. This makes short workouts a fantastic option when you need to take a break in your work day.
