Ultimate Frisbee consists of traditional fundamental skills involved in many sports, incorporated in a fast-paced disc sport. It is non-contact making it a safe sport for participants regardless of age, size and ability. Ultimate is self-refereed, which encourages a mature response to competitive situations. Ultimate is played under the Spirit of the Game (SOTG) philosophy, which stresses sportsmanship and fair play. Competitive play is encouraged but never at the expense of respect between players, adherence to the rules and for the love of the game. SOTG can be best described as play hard, play fair. Participants must review the rule modifications along with the new and improved health and safety measures prior to registering.
